Be part of the au pair world now while you are young and free
AU PAIR or NANNY IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
Be an aupair or Nanny in the Republic of Ireland. There's so much history and ancestry to explore and discover in The Emerald Isle. Dublin, vibrant University city of young people built along the River Liffey. Irish pubs, Guiness, the wonderful Irish accent and sense of humour. Land of Celtic history and leprechauns, long before St Patrick arrived. Visit Waterford, Cork, Galway and discover for yourself the enchantment of this country.
JCR Aupairs & Nannies is the most trusted aupair/nanny agency for safe and secure placements and "in country" back up and support.
Au Pair or Nanny Age group: 18 - 30 inclusive. Females only may apply.
Education: Completed year 10 or higher
Childcare Experience: Minimum 200 hours. This can be any fairly regular interaction with children, not related to you, up to age 12. Experience with children related to you is acceptable but only in addition to that of non related children. All applicants to the Nanny program must have a suitable child care qualification.
Period of Commitment: 12 month placements all year round. 6 month placements are possible but it does take longer to match as far less families look for a 6 month short stay. 3 month summer aupair placements are not available.
Visa: 12 month Working Holiday Visa. Holders of a European Union passport are not subject to any visa conditions but do have to register with the Irish authorities. EU passport applicants are not restricted by age and families will accept candidates over the age of 30.
Applicants to Ireland must speak English well as Ireland is an English speaking country. All positions are live in. All salaries are net of tax unless otherwise advised. You pay your own round trip return airfare. You provide your own health insurance cover.
